Dress Code

Please wear formal, business clothing.

Suggested clothing includes: suits, dresses, blazers, skirts, smart blouses or shirts, smart trousers, ties, smart shoes.

National dress should not be worn

Christmas jumpers and other end-of-year fancy dress (hats etc.) are encouraged

Notepaper

Notepaper is used to pass messages between delegates both in committees and between committees, often to create alliances or lobby support for a resolution. We suggest all delegations bring their own notepaper design with them to the conference, for the chance to win the prestigious MGSMUN 2025 notepaper competition. Please be aware all messages in notes are screened by secretaries.

Drop off and Pick up arrangements

Please enter the school from the main entrance on Old Hall Lane only.

Drop off will be 09:00 – 09:30

Parents should follow the one-way system and drop off their child where indicated. Minibuses should park on the main drive. There is no parking available for other vehicles, other than those of school advisors, who should park at the rear of the main building.

Pick up will be at 16:30

Each school has been assigned to one of three parking and waiting areas. On arrival, parents should follow the signs to your designated parking area, and walk to the corresponding waiting area. Delegates will be taken there by the school prefects to meet them.

On site parking is very limited. Please lift share, park off site or use public transport where possible.
